About the event
WHAT IS PALM SUNDAY?
Palm Sunday falls on the Sunday before Resurrection Sunday (also known as Easter), and marks the beginning of Passion/Holy Week, which celebrates and remembers the final week of Jesus Christ's life and ministry before his death and resurrection. Palm Sunday commemorates Jesus Christ's triumphal entry into Jerusalem. He was greeted by a crowd waving palm branches. During Palm Sunday, palms will be blessed and distributed during the service as a reminder for Christians to welcome Jesus into their hearts and to be willing to follow him.
